Cops & Robbers - How realistic is The Shield's portrayal of life on the force? By Lucas�Miller I really enjoyed the first season of this farily brutal and well done show. I haven't really caught much of this season's offerings; in this guy's eyes, it seems to be lapsing a bit soapy, and Vic's character is WAY TOO sympathetic. I rather liked hating him. See what happens when you give the leading actor some creative control? Witness the last two season of "Roseanne" and the last season of "Seinfeld" among man many others.
