Official Web Site of Colonial Williamsburg, the Worlds Largest Living History Museum

Official Web Site of Colonial Williamsburg, the Worlds Largest Living History MuseumThis place was a trip. . .through time! Helps if you have the slightest inkling toward experiencing life in 1774, with central a.c.! The intro movie at the visitors center is fab: JacK Lord in the starring role. The Gaol (Jail) was fascinating, especially in light of the fact that it was used until 1910. The 101 degree temp really made you wonder how folks dealt with life back then; no wonder people died young. . . that tidewater heat is rough. Also pretty neat. . .the Publick hospital, the governor's mansion and the Revolutionary Era type stage show at the Kimball theater.
